woah.... even though I just posted my previous journal 14 days ago... it feels like it took ages O.o

that's cause the last couple of weeks have been so extremely bussy for me! I've done so much X.X

first of all I had this school project, we were asked to write an research proposal for a farmacutical company... and we decided to write one for NeFarma, which is an organisation who specialises on medicine based on animal research, and we were asked to find alternative ways for the current research methods, and to investigate where the most common barriers were..

so basicly, me and my research group (Metin, Alumit, Farah, Senait and myself) had to work our asses off those 2 weeks, cause we had to have a research proposal AND present our findings to them after the 2 weeks..
so we had to work really hard.. X.x at one moment, we even spend our entire day at the VU X.x we arived at 8am, we worked untill 11 o'clock, then we had a meeting to discus how things where going, what we were going to do with the presentation etc, and then after 13:00, we worked on our research proposal again, and on the presentation, and it became 4 o'clock, 5 o'clock, 7 o'clock... and then at 8 o'clock we decided to order pizza... and i cant believe the pizza delivery boy literly delivered the pizza on the 7th floor, through the long hallway INTO our office O.O ... i feel so sorry for that kid.. XD cause we only tipped him with 1 cent or something

then, when it was 23:00, the anouncement was there that the VU was going to close... so we went home, I was asked to put the finnishing touch on the document, so I worked on the last parts in the train home, when I got home at midnight, I still worked on it till 01:00... then I finaly went to sleep at 02:00... and I already had to get up at 06:00 the next morning, cause I had to have the train of 07:00 to be at the VU again at 8 o'clock... with our presentation at 10:30... damn was I tired =___=

but! Our presentation went wonderfull! ^o^ everything was going so smoothely, and the punchlines and motivators were so powerfull! NeFarma was really impressed!
we were really happy about how we presented our research program... we sticked to the 15-minute speaking time.... (unlike the other groups, who would easely talk 25 minutes WITHOUT being cut off >__> ) ...and it suprised me, that some people just cant make powerpoints O.O even at University! they like... get a sheet... but a DANG BIG PIECE of text on it... and just start reading it of the screen O.o We encountered some good competition from another research group, Entec... their presentation was also really fascinating, and structurised, the only thing I was most upset about.... they were talking about specialists of genetics: mr. A Helix, metabolism: mrs. Stof-wisseling. and fysiology: mr. H eart ..... GOD HOW LAME! >_< I can understand you want some entertainment in your presentation to prevent the public from being bored to death... but dont present FAKE names to such a Farmacuitical industry!! O.o and another part which i dissagreed on was the fact that every research method they aplied, the hired another company to do the work for them... but basicly, what you do then, is giving those other companys the right to patent and copywrite everything they have found while researching, which leaves you with... NOTHING! ... <_< ohwell...

in the end, we finnished 2nd place, cause Entec still won for some miraculous reason >_> but our supervisers said that if it'd be a real bussines proposal, that we'd have won for sure, cause we sticked to the 15 minute speaking, gave a brief and powerfull summary of our research, and aproached the company with what we could do for them....

so after the presentation was over, it was finaly over... the 2 weeks of hard work, the stress for the oh so many deadlines... it was over, and we could sit back and relax... thinking about how good our final proposal had become

and so, I could finaly enter my weekend without any worries! ^_^ and the weekend already started really good, cause the mist of that morning had totaly dissapeared, and I would meet and her parents at "De Dam" in amsterdam after my presentation, and we'd go shopping alltogether, and afterwards go and have some dinner at an italian restaurant, and then attend the comedytheater show BOOM! Chicago, at the "leidseplein" in amsterdam we had such a great time ^^ and the dinner in the restaurant was also delicious! x3... and boom chicago was really a blast! it was so funny seeing improvisation theater once again, since it's basicly been 3 years since i last saw it, and that was when i was on stage preforming myself after the show, and me went home to my place, and the next day we just staid at home playing games and such, cause the weather wasnt that nice for going to Hoorn... but still we had loads of fun

so yeah, I've been pretty bussy X.x university swallows most of my time... and then I still got my work at amsterdam sloterdijk station, which I work now every sunday.. I finnaly started taking driving lessons! =O and it's so cool x3... I'm really enjoying myself while driving, so much fun but yet also angst and excitement and in all between of that, I try visiting as much as I can ^^ it's nice to have moments in which i can just relax, without having to think about anything... thank you fon

and those moments are also great for uploading my art! god... how many devations did i upload yesterday? 34 of something? XD it's really alot... i guess i got plenty of time to take photographs while i'm on my way to events and places... but to sit at home behind my computer and upload my art imediately... i guess that just doesnt work for me

so my life is pretty on the right track going in the good direction
